Maldon shaded

I really really love this weapon. I'm big on staff weapons/pole-arms to begin with, so when Kilerkki said she needed help, I practically drooled at the chance. The main design and the weapon itself is entirely credited to her - I just helped her tweak it.

Both dagger-head and hook are a combination cap/tang design. The dagger-head has two rivets securing it to the ash-wood shaft, with leather wrappings to protect the heads from wear and tear. Since the hook end will be getting the most use, it's got three rivets to secure it, and the leather wrapping protects two of the three heads for wear and tear. The maldon's about six to six and a half feet long, weighing...maybe ten pounds at the most, I think we finally said?
